Terms

Last updated 22 August 2026

Short, because there isn't much to govern yet. This site shows our work and lets you get in touch. There are no accounts to sign up for and nothing to pay for.

Who you are dealing with

Forged Studios is the trading name of Forged Studios LLC, a limited liability company organised in Arkansas, United States. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means whoever is using the site. The fastest way to reach a person about anything on this page is Production@forgedstu.com — we answer within 48 hours.

Using the site

Read it, watch it, link to it, send it to someone. That's what it's for, and none of it requires an account. What we ask you not to do: scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or the media on it by automated means; probe, load-test or interfere with the site or the contact form's rate limits, including routing around them; use the form to send spam, malware or anything unlawful; or pass yourself off as us or as an artist on our roster.

The work on this site

The films, images, designs and writing here belong to Forged Studios and the artists credited alongside them. You're welcome to link to any of it or share it. Reproducing it, reusing it in your own work, or training a model on it needs our permission first — ask us, and the answer is often yes.

What you send us

When you send an inquiry, a reel, a portfolio or an application, you keep everything you own in it. You give us permission to open it, read it, circulate it internally and keep it on file so we can reply — and, for roster submissions, come back to you when the right project lands. What we collect and where it goes is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Please don't send confidential material or unsolicited creative ideas expecting them to be treated as secret. We work in a small industry on overlapping briefs, and we may already be developing something similar. Sending us something doesn't entitle you to payment or credit if we later make work that resembles it.

Careers and the roster

The roster is a list of artists we want to call, not a payroll. Being added to it isn't an offer of employment, a promise of work or a guarantee of a rate. When a project needs someone, we reach out, and terms are agreed for that engagement.

Buying things

Nothing on this site is for sale right now. The store is closed and our software is still in development, so there's no checkout, no payment processor and no licence for you to agree to. When any of that opens, the terms covering it — licensing, delivery, refunds — will be published here first.

Project work

If we make something for you, that engagement runs on the agreement we both sign for it. Scope, schedule, ownership, credit, rates and payment all live there, and where it differs from this page, it wins. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance or a guarantee of a particular result — a service description, a portfolio piece, a statistic and a response time are descriptions of how we work. A quote is an offer; this site isn't.

The site is provided as it is

The site and everything on it are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that a video will play on your setup — though we'd like all of those to be true and we work at it.

Limits on what we owe

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither Forged Studios LLC nor its members, employees, contractors or artists are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or production time arising out of the site or these terms — even where we were told such loss was possible. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in Arkansas have jurisdiction. We operate from Arkansas; if you use the site from somewhere else, complying with your local law is yours to do.

Changes

This page will grow as the studio does, and the date at the top moves whenever it does. Questions in the meantime: Production@forgedstu.com.
