For studio administrators
Your studio is one organisation. You own it, your artists are its members, and adding a person is what gives them a seat.
Two tabs are yours alone: Team, where the people and their seats are, and Organization, where the branding and release rules are.
Where your organisation comes from
You made it when you bought. The studio's name, your name and your password went in at checkout on forgedstu.com, and the organisation was created with you as its owner before the card was charged — so you download the Hub, sign in with what you chose, and the licence is already there. A studio running its own Hub on its own server is the other case: the organisation is created there at deployment, once.
Add someone from the Team tab
Team → + New profile: full name, email, what they do on a show, and whether they can manage the team. Choose Email the invitation now and the Hub emails them the download link, their address and a temporary password. Choose Add without emailing yet to build the roster first and send every invitation together with Send N invitations at the top of the tab.
A title is not a permission
Every member has a job title from the same list Forged Review uses — artist, supervisor, producer, head of studio, director, coordinator. It says what someone does on a show. Team access — the separate control beside it — says who may manage the roster. Calling someone Head of Studio hands them nothing, and calling an admin an artist takes nothing away.
Two ticks per person
Each row carries a Review seat tick and an Image licence tick. In *assigned* seat mode a person holds only what is ticked: untick Forged Image and their next launch is refused. In *everyone* mode every member holds every licence the studio does, and the ticks are a record. The switch is at the top of the Team tab and says which mode you are in.
If your studio runs Forged Review
The roster follows Review. Add, rename, retitle or archive someone there and the Hub's Team tab matches within seconds; archived people are suspended here, not removed. Inviting them to the Hub, and the Image licence tick, stay yours — Review does not know when the software is ready.
Brand the Hub
Organization → Studio branding: a name, an optional tagline, an accent colour and a logo up to 40 KiB. Every artist in your organisation sees it at the top of their Hub. Branding is included with every studio-class licence.
Decide what releases your studio sees
Release policy, per product: the default channel artists land on, the channels they may switch to, and an optional version constraint such as >=0.1.0 <0.2.0. Use it to hold a show on a known build while a newer one is tested on Beta by a few people.
| Channel | Who it is for |
|---|---|
| Stable | Every paying customer. |
| Beta | Paying customers who opt in, and studios testing ahead. |
| Internal | Forged's own builds before anyone else. |
Take someone off
Suspend on their row stops every token they hold at once; the compositor they have open will not get another session. Remove takes them off the team — seats and sessions end, the account stays so they can be added back. Neither uninstalls anything from their workstation; it just will not launch without the Hub. Every change is written to the organisation's audit log with who did it and when.
