Overview
Comparison is the reason most retakes get resolved in one pass instead of three. Compare opens a second viewer on the left holding any other version of the same task — not just the previous one — and the main timeline drives both frame for frame.
The compare side also has its own small transport, so you can hold the new version still and scrub the old one to find the moment that changed.
How to
- Press ⧉ Compare in the viewer bar.
- Choose which version to compare against from its picker.
- Scrub the main timeline — both sides move together.
- Use the small scrubber under the compare view to move that side alone.

Known edges
PDF dailies cannot be loaded into the compare viewer; the button stays disabled when a task has fewer than two playable versions.
