Repeating meetings
ScheduleSince 1.0
Overview
Repeats materialize as real occurrences sharing a series id, so any single one can be moved or cancelled without disturbing the rest. A forever series keeps roughly ninety days of occurrences ahead of itself, topped up by a background sweep, so it never runs dry.
How a meeting repeats is editable after the fact: change the cadence, the end date, or stop it repeating, and this occurrence and everything upcoming is rebuilt while past ones stay as history.
How to
- Set Repeats when scheduling.
- Choose Ends — on a date, or never.
- To change it later, edit the meeting and apply to *every meeting in the series*.
Controls
| Control | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| repeat | Enum | daily · weekdays · weekly · biweekly · monthly. |
| repeatUntil | Date | Not documented yet. |
| repeatForever | Bool | Rolling series, extended automatically. |
| scope | Enum | one · series. A date change on a series shifts every occurrence by the same delta. |
Known edges
One RSVP covers a whole series. Cancelling a series removes every occurrence and notifies attendees.
