Repeating meetings

ScheduleSince 1.0

Overview

Repeats materialize as real occurrences sharing a series id, so any single one can be moved or cancelled without disturbing the rest. A forever series keeps roughly ninety days of occurrences ahead of itself, topped up by a background sweep, so it never runs dry.

How a meeting repeats is editable after the fact: change the cadence, the end date, or stop it repeating, and this occurrence and everything upcoming is rebuilt while past ones stay as history.

How to

  1. Set Repeats when scheduling.
  2. Choose Ends — on a date, or never.
  3. To change it later, edit the meeting and apply to *every meeting in the series*.

Controls

Known edges

One RSVP covers a whole series. Cancelling a series removes every occurrence and notifies attendees.
