BS_ChromaBlur
Filterv1coreNeeds full inputForge
Overview
Blurs colour and leaves luminance alone. The eye resolves luma far more finely than chroma, so sensor colour noise, compression blocks and blue-screen mottling all die here at no visible cost to sharpness.
How to
How-to
- Set
sizein pixels; only the colour is blurred, the luminance stays sharp. - Use it on sensor colour noise, compression blocks or a keyed edge's chroma fringe before keying.
- Larger sizes read as a soft colour bleed; luminance detail never moves.

Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| size | Float | 6.0 | The effect's size/radius in pixels. |
| disabled | Bool | false | Bypass: the node passes its first input through untouched (D in the graph). The knobs keep their values for when it comes back. |
| label | Text | A note shown under the node in the graph — what this node is FOR. Never affects the render or the cache. | |
| hide_input | Bool | false | Draw the node without its input wire — a tidy graph for a node whose source is obvious (a Dot, a viewer tap). |
