Overview
Per-channel curves — click to add points, shape the response exactly. The surgical grade.
How to
How-to
- Click a curve to add points and drag them;
yshapes all channels,red/green/blueone each. - The hue and saturation curves (
hue_sat,lum_sat…) are indexed by the input's hue, luminance or saturation. domain = shaperruns the stack in ACEScct so mid-grey sits at 0.5;high_clip/low_clipsoft-limit the ends.
Inputs
| Input | What it takes |
|---|---|
| in | the image this node works on |
| mask | limits the effect to this matte — the engine's universal mask slot, applied for every node that declares it |
Outputs

Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| y | Lut | 2 points | The master curve on luminance. |
| red | Lut | 2 points | A per-channel curve: input along the bottom, output up the side. |
| green | Lut | 2 points | A per-channel curve: input along the bottom, output up the side. |
| blue | Lut | 2 points | A per-channel curve: input along the bottom, output up the side. |
| hue_hue | Lut | 7 points | Hue vs hue: shift each hue by degrees. |
| hue_sat | Lut | 7 points | Hue vs saturation: scale saturation per hue. |
| hue_lum | Lut | 7 points | Hue vs luminance: scale brightness per hue. |
| lum_sat | Lut | 3 points | Luminance vs saturation: scale saturation by brightness. |
| sat_sat | Lut | 3 points | Saturation vs saturation: reshape saturation by how saturated a pixel already is. |
| sat_lum | Lut | 3 points | Saturation vs luminance: scale brightness by saturation. |
| high_clip | Float | 1.0 | Values above this are clipped — with high_soft, rolled off toward it. |
| high_soft | Float | 0.0 | How softly the high clip rolls off (0 = hard). |
| low_clip | Float | 0.0 | Values below this are clipped — with low_soft, rolled off toward it. |
| low_soft | Float | 0.0 | How softly the low clip rolls off (0 = hard). |
| domain | Choice | linear | The space the curves are drawn in: linear (the working space as-is) or the shaper (the config's log working space, ACEScct in the shipped config) — where a curve over a wide range is actually editable. linearshaper |
| disabled | Bool | false | Bypass: the node passes its first input through untouched (D in the graph). The knobs keep their values for when it comes back. |
| label | Text | A note shown under the node in the graph — what this node is FOR. Never affects the render or the cache. | |
| hide_input | Bool | false | Draw the node without its input wire — a tidy graph for a node whose source is obvious (a Dot, a viewer tap). |
