EngineLook
3Dv1core
Overview
The engine look as a node on scene-linear input: exposure (stops) then the tonemapper 2014 UE Filmic (the fitted ACES curve UE ships), AgX, or Hable. This is how a render looks IN Unreal while every pixel underneath stays gradeable. none = bypass.
How to
How-to
- Wire a scene-linear stream (EngineLive or a render); set exposure in stops and pick the
tonemap. - Use it to match what the engine's viewport showed, or leave scene-linear for the comp's OCIO.

Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| exposure | Float | 0.0 | Brightness in photographic stops: +1 doubles the light. |
| tonemap | Choice | UE Filmic (ACES) | Which view transform the live stream is shown through — Unreal's own tonemap, or scene-linear left alone for the comp's OCIO. noneUE Filmic (ACES)AgXHable Filmic |
| disabled | Bool | false | Bypass: the node passes its first input through untouched (D in the graph). The knobs keep their values for when it comes back. |
| label | Text | A note shown under the node in the graph — what this node is FOR. Never affects the render or the cache. | |
| hide_input | Bool | false | Draw the node without its input wire — a tidy graph for a node whose source is obvious (a Dot, a viewer tap). |
