SplatShade

3Dv1app

Overview

Grades splats in 3D — a tint and gamma on the capture's base colour, optionally limited to a region so one object grades without touching the scene. For lighting-level control (dynamic lights, ambient, exposure) use the SplatRead's Relight section; this node is the quick colour nudge in the chain.

How to

How-to

  1. Put it after a SplatTransform.
  2. Set tint and gamma for a quick grade of the capture's colour.
  3. Turn on region to grade one object without touching the rest; for real relighting use the SplatRead's Relight section.

Parameters

ParameterTypeDefaultWhat it does
tintColor[1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0]The colour multiplied into the splats' base colour.
gammaFloat1.0A gamma on the base colour — under 1 brightens, over 1 darkens.
regionChoiceoffLimit the grade to a box or sphere so it hits one object, not the world. offboxsphere
region_min_xFloat-1.0Region box: the X of the near corner, world units.
region_min_yFloat-1.0Region box: the Y of the near corner, world units.
region_min_zFloat-1.0Region box: the Z of the near corner, world units.
region_max_xFloat1.0Region box: the X of the far corner, world units.
region_max_yFloat1.0Region box: the Y of the far corner, world units.
region_max_zFloat1.0Region box: the Z of the far corner, world units.
region_center_xFloat0.0Region sphere: the X of its centre, world units.
region_center_yFloat0.0Region sphere: the Y of its centre, world units.
region_center_zFloat0.0Region sphere: the Z of its centre, world units.
region_radiusFloat1.0Region sphere: its radius, world units.
disabledBoolfalseBypass: the node passes its first input through untouched (D in the graph). The knobs keep their values for when it comes back.
labelTextA note shown under the node in the graph — what this node is FOR. Never affects the render or the cache.
hide_inputBoolfalseDraw the node without its input wire — a tidy graph for a node whose source is obvious (a Dot, a viewer tap).
